TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching an introductory French course in a middle school for the past five years. This course introduces students to the basics of French grammer and pronunciation and focuses on where the language is spoken as well as the people and cultures of the francophone world.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in active learning, especially at the middle school level. My lesson plans are filled with learning activities that put the responsibility of learning on the student. Active engagement is critical in foreign language learning and these activities can be manipulated to be used at any level of language learning.
