I taught middle school and high school French for five years (2007-2012) at a prestigious day/boarding school in Tennessee before taking time off to be a stay at home mom. I am still involved in tutoring students in the evenings, and in my five years of teaching I developed a wealth of interactive teaching materials for use in my classroom. I have also traveled to France on 5 different occasions, living in western France for one year and I took part in an internship in Montreal during the summer of 2011.
As a teacher, my classes were very interactive and student-centered. I spent a lot of time doing advance preparation so that my students could be active during class time. I used full immersion methods in my classroom, including TPRS from time to time.

My husband is also a teacher, in middle school English, so I have developed some files for use in his classroom.
