I have ten years of experience teaching all levels Spanish, in one-to-one classrooms, and traditional classroom settings. I also have two years of advanced formative assessment training, and five years of administrative experience in the field of curriculum of instruction.
My teaching consistently engages language learners in all modes of communication: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. I strive to facilitate student-centered instruction through planning differentiated activities that activate curiosity and address varying levels of student ability. I teach real-world derived content in the target language, using English sparingly and thoughtfully.
