I teach at English Language Arts and Journalism at Emmerich Manual High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have taught 9th grade ELA, 9th grade honors ELA, Cambridge First Language English, and Journalism/student publications.
I am a high energy teacher with clear procedures and expectations for what a successful classroom looks like. I believe in chunked activities with quick transitions and multiple avenues for student-on-student interaction.
