I was an ESL Teacher at a private language academy in Seoul for three years. For the first two years, I was a regular teacher. In my final year there, I was on the school leadership team as the Head Native English Teacher. Prior to that, I worked in Learning & Development for a global telecoms company (based in the UK) for five years. This autumn, I will start studying for a PDGE at the University of Glasgow.
Constructivist! I want my students to have fun and feel involved in the learning process.
Yet to be added
MA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Glasgow. Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). (TEFL Org UK Certificate (150 hours) – accredited by ODLQC, BAC and SQA.)
I've been involved in education/learning since I graduated from university in 2010. It was only after going to Korea to teach English, though, that I realised teaching young learners was my passion in life! I'm Scottish, but split my time between Los Angeles and Glasgow.
