I teach gifted education in two elementary schools each week in grades 3-5. I have taught middle school, Sunday School classes, and handbell choirs of all ages, adults included. I have worked with grant projects at all levels, including at the collegiate level. All of my books are differentiated for the teacher. As a gifted ed teacher, I teach all subjects. I struggled with math as a student and it was boring! So I wanted my students to learn math and see that math could be fun.
Problem based, project base, curriculum based, differentiated "Depth and Complexity" I instruct with the learners' learning style in mind. I want my students to learn how to think for themselves and solve problems. I want my students to think about multiple perspectives, the ethics of any situation, and to never stop asking questions! ASSUME NOTHING!!!
I have the honor of being married to the same man for 33+ years, have three intelligent sons (thank you teachers!), two daughter-in-laws in the education field and medical field, and one grandson. I have the honor of teaching and have had the honor of teaching many students. I am an independent author and independent publisher. What does this mean? I write my own unique books, own my bar codes and all copyrights, and do my own promoting. I submitted to book publishers, but they could not find a category or wanted me to sell my rights to them. So I went independent.
