TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 13th year teaching. I taught first grade for 7 years and am in my 6th year of teaching 2nd grade. I am currently working on my elementary math specialist degree.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strive to provide my students a wide-range of learning experiences. I love hands-on lessons and try to incorporate lots of technology. I use the daily 5 format for literacy, math workshop, and writer's workshop. I believe in developing number sense and fostering problem solving skills so students truly understand math and see its value.
