I am in my fourth year of teaching. My first two years were in a self-contained multicategorical class. I am now working in a life skills/autistic class.
I LOVE working in EC. I believe that every student can learn, no matter what their disability or struggle. I strive to make learning fun for my kids and teach them in many different ways to work for their different learning styles. Every little step of growth is a huge accomplishment & makes me so happy!
In college, I was president of our teaching exceptional children club. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from college and was a Who's Who Scholar among college seniors.
I graduated from Campbell University in 2014 with a degree in special education and a minor in music.
In my free time I love traveling and exploring. I also enjoy volunteering at my church and being a small group leader for the middle school girls.
