The interactive notebook is a PowerPoint. I uploaded it to my Google Classroom and made a copy for each student. This is only part of my instruction. I introduced the topic, we completed the appropriate slides, and did follow up activities. The
Students will read nine cards. Each of the cards contain a few sentences. The students will determine which heading to place the cards under. The cards are numbered. The students will have a recording sheet, and they record the number on their sheet.
This PowerPoint covers the basics needed for understanding simple machines. Youtube video links are provided. There is a video of a song included more than once. My students loved the song, and we listened to it often.
