TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a credentialed teacher in California. I love teaching and creating things for my students. I have a website www.mandarinforme.com with free resources for learning Chinese such as videos, games, and music.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am currently teaching Chinese in middle school, and I come from a long history of early education in elementary school. So I love using ideas from elementary school with my middle schoolers. For example, instead of testing them on Chinese numbers I had them to a finger painting quiz. I love trying out new ideas and love bouncing off ideas with other teachers. I especially love music and art and play piano with my students and do many art projects. Many are documented on my website www.mandarinforme.com.
