This packet can be used for a one week unit on Magnets. There are pages about magnetic vs. non-magnetic, magnets as a force, attraction and repulsion. These are common-core aligned objectives that kids will really love!

This can be used as a beginning of the school year activity or for any get to know you activity to use throughout the year.

Thus product is a heart-shaped outline where kids complete the sentence "I love..." There is room for them to draw a picture. I plan to print them on red, pink, and purple card stock. My kids will decorate them, cut them out, and then we will hang them on the classroom door. You could also put this in a writing center.
