For 17 years I have been a public educator and have taught ELA/ English on all grade levels 7-12, honors, regular tracked , inclusion and accelerated - college level. I create teaching materials that are interest driven, multi-disciplinary and technologically advanced while aligning with the Common Core State Standards. Additionally, I teach online, professional development and graduate school coursework in education. My students are in-service professionals in all subject areas and grade levels.
My teaching style is very multidisciplinary/ multi-sensory, constructivist and student centered with a high degree of technological integration.

I earned a BA in English, MA in Secondary English education and a MS in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Technology.
Additionally, I write articles for online education journals and blogs, as well as fictional short stories. I'm have written a professional book aimed at aligning English classrooms with the Common Core State Standards that is being considered for publication with ASCD and Eye on Education.
