In Geometry we use lots of properties and definitions in proofs. I created a cheat sheet for students to use and help them figure out what comes next in the proof. This shows them the key word they see and what is the reason they use that matches
Students have to match the notation with the picture and name. I printed these on three different colors and they had to match the colors with each other. It was a great activity to teach them how to pay attention to detail when naming or drawing
I have two proofs on each page. You can cut them out and have students match the statements and reasons for each proof. I also have them on a sheet that they copy down after they are done matching. Students learned alot from doing this activity!
