In my fourth grade classroom, I wanted to focus on specific figurative language and poetry forms for the week. Throughout the week, we talked about 2-3 figurative language types and 2 poetry forms per day. the students then created a poetry book!
This is a wonderful chart that helps keeps students organized with figurative language! The students can list what the definition of the term is, write an example from a work or from class, and then they can write their own.

This is a word document of 8 word problems that follow a story about Rudolph! The questions all involve double digit multiplication and many of them are multi-step. Students must read carefully and follow through the major steps of problem
