I am currently finishing my third year of teaching. I began my career as a 2nd and 3rd grade intervention specialist in an inclusion and resource room setting. I transitioned to a 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade position in a different district to begin my second year of teaching, and I continue to work in that setting. I teach reading, spelling, language, and math in a pull-out setting, while providing supports for all other subject areas.
I am a hands-on teacher that likes to include my students in the learning process to help them achieve their maximum potential.
Prior to graduating from The University of Findlay in December 2013, I was named the Outstanding Teacher Candidate for Intervention Specialist Education for the Class of 2014.
I graduated from The University of Findlay in December, 2013, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Intervention Specialist Education, Mild to Moderate Disabilities.
In addition to my love of teaching, I also have a love for the sport of Track and Field. I am a registered track and field official and independent contractor through the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
