TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a New York City public school teacher. I have been teaching for seven years in the South Bronx. I graduated from the Teaching Fellows Program in 2013 with my Masters in Science Education from Lehman College.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a warm-strict teacher. I can relate to my students, but I know when it's time to play and when it's time to work hard. The students always reassure and validate my teaching style every day.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I earned a full scholarship to Hunter College to participate in the TESOL program. I am certified in ENL in addition to Science.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

For undergraduate, I attended New York University and I majored in Spanish and Pre-Medicine. As a graduate student, I earned a Masters in Science Education through Lehman College. I obtained a second Masters degree in TESOL at Hunter College.
