TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught mathematics for 35 years. I have been using more activities with students than I did in my earlier years of teaching.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm trying to change my style of teaching to more student centered learning. I like seeing students helping each other. I'm trying to do more activities with my classes and a lot of group work.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

In College, I was an All-State Softball player. I have been a co-winner of 3 grants in the last three years.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I went to Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina. I taught in South Carolina for 18 years and I'm now in my 17th year in New Jersey.
