I love to teach because it is fun to always be learning something new, connecting with people, and hopefully making a difference in others' lives. My goal is to understand my students' strengths and set each of them up for success in whatever they want to do. I strive to develop and implement leadership and application opportunities for students so that they may extend their abilities, develop their skills and connect with real opportunities and people in our community. I teach students how to work in teams, be diplomatic, and be accountable to their roles and decisions by incorporating interactive activities and collaborative projects in every class. I also value using simulations because I believe that otherwise business can seem very abstract and students struggle to see the relevance, plus, they are fun!
