TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 11 years in high poverty schools in Charlotte, NC, primarily in classes with high numbers of special needs students or students who speak English as a Second Language.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style has been jokingly described as "organized chaos." I have a strong focus on critical thinking, problem solving, and learning to be a nice human being. I like to let the students figure things out without me always having to explain them to foster independence, as well as creativity.
