I have taught 3 years in New York. During that time I taught 6th grade and high school ESE. I loved every minute of it. My heart took me to Florida, where I was offered a 1st grade job. Now I can't get enough of the little ones, and their stories!
As teachers we are preparing our students to become effective community members. I try to connect all my teaching to real life experiences to show students why learning is important. I also work hard to provide a safe environment for all the diverse learners in my classroom.
Yet to be added
My first degree I received was from St. John Fisher in upstate NY. I graduated with a bachelors in Elementary and Special Education. Then I went on to Edinboro University to obtain my masters in Literacy. I also have been able to take class to become ESOL and gifted endorsed.
You should never go a day without smiling and laughing in the classroom!
