I'm an elementary Technology Integration Specialist at a school in the Houston Independent School District. I've been involved with integrating technology with core curriculum for most of my 30 years teaching. I have also been a secondary Technology curriculum writer for HISD and worked for Rice University in teaching K-12 teachers how to integrate technology with science and mathematics. I was on the Texas State Board Committee to revise the state technology objectives.
Project based learning is my go to style for teaching most concepts. I also use collaborative learning and believe that students must own their learning.
