I have taught students across grades K-5 throughout the past six years. My first three years were spent as a special education teacher and later special education supervisor in an urban charter school. The last 6 years were spent as a learning support teacher in a suburban district. Next year will be my first as a second grade teacher!
I think one of the most important things to teaching is respect. Once the respect between a teacher and a student is built, real learning can take place- and fun can be had!

Not to sound cliche- but I love teaching! :)
