TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a teacher for more than 25 years. During this time, I taught math and computers at the junior high level and computers at the elementary level. I also worked as a mentor teacher and technology coordinator where I trained teachers on using technology in their classrooms. I have started a page on Facebook where I or anyone can add tips for integrating curriculum and technology. Search for "Technology for Teachers" and click the "Like" button to get tips. Finally, click below to view my site highlighting websites to use with students: https://sites.google.com/site/techandteachers/home Watch my new website grow at: techandteachers.weebly.com!

MY TEACHING STYLE

For computers, I believe in teaching the students how to complete projects that are integrated within their classroom instruction. When I do assign students to play comnputer games, I choose games very carefully and always have a criteria for what they need to accomplish. When I teach math, I am very structured, but like to add in fun activities, games, and projects that get kids excited about math.
