I have taught for 14 years. I have taught self contained and math departmentalized. I have taught 1 year of 4th, 2 years of 6th and 11 years of 5th. I am currently a math teacher. I have my masters in math education.

I have been teacher of the year twice, once in 2009 and once in 2015. I have won Kiwanis Teacher of Year for the entire district. I have also won AWARE teacher of the year for 5th & 6th grade division.

I graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with a Bachelors in Education. Later I received my Masters in Math Education from Texas Wesleyan.
