I have been teaching since 1998 and I LOVE to create high quality materials. I specialize in math games, cooperative learning items, and test prep. I have taught in 3 states and 2 countries. I have a M.Ed. in Elementary Education and National Board Certification (Middle Child Generalist).
I have taught in 6 different schools in 3 states and 2 countries. Each school had a unique and varied approach. I have taught at an Arts Impact School, a Coalition for Essential School school, a school that was involved in an in depth study of the Reggio Emilia philosophy, and currently the school where I teach emphasizes high engagement, cooperative learning (Kagan Cooperative Learning). Needless to say I have learned a great deal. I take the good ideas from all these experiences and have an eclectic mix of best practices that work for my classroom.
National Board Certification
I have a B.S degree and an M.Ed. degree.
I can never seem to find exactly what I want from textbooks and commercially made materials so I end up creating many materials. I love creating high quality classroom materials!
