TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught both 4th and 5th grade. I have been teaching 4th grade for the last fourteen years. For the past 6 years, 4th grade has been departmentalize and I have had the pleasure of teaching math to four classes a day.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm a National Board Certified Teacher with a passion for all things Math. I LOVE providing my students with tasks that require investigation and collaboration. I consider the various learning styles of my students when selecting lessons/ activities to use in my classroom. Therefore, my lessons often include visual models, interactive journals, peer collaboration, and movement of some sort.
