In 2014, I worked as a TA with high school students in special education. 2014-2015 brought on my 1st year of teaching...In year 2, I taught Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 for high school students with emotional disabilities and Autism in FCPS. Year 3-Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 1-Part I. Year 4 (now)-English 9. I love teaching and am always learning and trying new things-including teaching new subjects!
I like to do as much hands-on learning, as possible. I enjoying using real life examples that my students can relate to. In my classroom, we use a lot of foldables and manipulatives to engage a variety of different types of learners. I want to inspire my students with my passion for learning!
