TEACHING EXPERIENCE

In 16 years of teaching I have taught every level of high school math from General Math all the way through AP Calculus AB/BC. I have not officially taught statistics, but I do have some experience with the material.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am not certain how to describe my style of teaching. My class is organized and prepared, yet I am willing to put up with a lot in order to help students learn. I am looking forward to further implementing the common core in my classes, which involves the writing of rich tasks for the classroom. When direct instruction is used, I tend to be conversational with my students and expect all students to learn.
