TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have student taught in a Standard 2 (3rd grade) classroom in Belize. I have also done field placements in an 8th grade AIS class and in a 9th and 10th grade algebra class. I have tutored several students through field placements, privately, and through my school's learning center.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to involve my students in the learning process as much as possible. I believe that students learn math by doing it. However, I also believe that students need modeling, scaffolding, and guidance throughout the learning process. I often guide my students by giving them specific questions. I also love to create analogies for my students and relate material to real life.
