TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm Helene Poppleton and I teach 7th and 8th grade math. I've taught large classes in a large Middle School, as well as small classes in a K-8 school. My students have run the gamut from co-taught SPED Inclusion classes to regular-ed and Honors.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My positive, encouraging style works best with inquiry and discovery lessons. We think and talk a lot in small groups, then discuss our ideas as a class, and finally put them all together in some useful notes and plenty of practice.
