I qualified as a teacher in England in 2013 and have taught in a number of different Outstanding Schools. I have had experience in teaching numerous subjects and am currently the Head of Classical Civilisations Department at my current school whilst also teaching History. I create all my own resources and am often complemented on them. I also have experience in teaching Geography, Religious Studies, Sex Education and Sociology.
I am really into interactive teaching where power is handed over to the pupils to discover the answer themselves, thus making them more resilient and determined to over come problems. Often pupils work in pairs or small groups using information given to them in relation to the lesson question.
Yet to be added
I studied Ancient History and History at the University of Reading in England and then went on to do my PGCE in 2012 at the University of Roehampton in London. I passed this course with the top "outstanding" grade and have never been judged otherwise.
Teaching is my life, I often spend hours making resources for my lessons so they are entertaining, interactive and fun. In my own personal opinion, I went into this job to create a passion for my subject and the students I teach deserve to have the best lessons possible.
