This can be used as a pre-reading strategy for students either small group or whole group. Students can draw (or write) what they predict to happen before the teacher reads, and then a spot for what really happens after for drawing or writing.
This log can be used to level students for guided reading groups and centers. I use DIBELS testing as well as my notes and own assessments to determine the level for each student. Print multiple copies to adjust throughout the year!
