I have almost completed my first year of teaching! I'm ending this year thankful and excited I chose this career field. I graduated from Murray State University in May of 2017 and work with Oldham County Schools in Kentucky.
I have worked toward using the workshop model of teaching my classroom. Language Arts lends itself to that style of teaching, and my personality also aids me in my pursuit of individualized and self-guided learning.
Yet to be added
I graduated high school from Calloway County High School in 2013. From there, I earned a bachelors degree in Middle School Education with an area in Language Arts from Murray State University.
I am a born and raised Kentuckian, currently living in Louisville, KY. My husband and I got married 5 years ago, right out of high school, and our marriage has been the most motivating! Travis is a youth pastor at a local church, and I currently teach 7th-grade language arts at a local public school. I hope to continue teaching for many, many years to come!
