This unit i developed during my students teaching. It is meant for 3rd grade NC science standards. It contains an overview of all activities, pre and post assessments, easy to read lesson plans, and lab sheets for student investigations.

Use this chart with students to hep them identify problems and solutions within a story. Students will then extend knowledge to think of alternative solutions to the problem. Great for inferring skills as well!
