I'll be starting my seventh year of teaching in the fall. I graduated from BYU in 2013 after completing a full year teaching internship in English and history. I've been able to teach in both subject areas since, and I love it!
I teach with a simple philosophy that backs everything I do. High expectations, high care. I do expect a lot from my students but only to benefit them. They can do difficult things, and that's what helps them build character and truly learn. At the same time though, I pour myself (time, effort, energy, creativity, love) into what I do. It's important that students know I care about them and their growth.

I had so many great teachers growing up in Utah, amazing people who inspired me to be what I've become today. After graduating high school, I attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and graduated from there in 2013 with a History Teaching major and minors in English Teaching and Communications.
