I taught 3rd grade for two years and first grade for ten years. I am currently working with students in Kindergarten through second grade as an ESOL teacher.
I challenge my students with engaging, thought provoking lessons that incorporate the arts as much as possible.
I was a 2014 Agnes Meyer Washing Post Outstanding Teacher nominee and a 2018 Prince George's County Teacher of the Year finalist
I earned a B.S. in Elementary Education and an M.A. in ESOL Education from the University of Maryland, College Park.
