When I was 5, I told my family that when I grew up I wanted to be a Kindergarten teacher. My choice to teach never changed. My aspiration came true in the Fall of 2005. Ever since then I have been teaching Kindergarten. I love teaching, and love teaching Kindergarten.
My teaching style is a mixture of many styles. I tend to include many hands on learning activities into my teaching. I do this by incorporating many learning games, using manipulatives, and pairing children up to work cooperatively. I also include technology into my curriculum through the use of iPads.
None at this time :)
I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Grades PK-3 Regular Education, and Birth to Age 8 Special Education. I also have my masters in Reading, including a Reading Teachers license.
I currently live with my husband, 2 kids and a dog in Wisconsin. I love spending time with my kids, and going to our family cabin.
