TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I teach English 10 and an AVID elective class. The materials on this site are useful for these standard, school-year classes, but I have also used them in summer school and night school classes. Enjoy and be creative!

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a teacher, I like to have a clear vision of what I am doing with my students each day. Once I have this vision and the materials to support learning, then I feel like I can join my students in their learning process. This allows me to be both detail-oriented and laid-back all at the same time :) Plus, having solid teaching materials helps me focus less on re-interpreting directions or expectations, and allows me to spend more time fostering understanding and connecting with my students.
