TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a new graduate of Clemson University with a BA in Early Childhood Education, and am working on an MEd in Education from Anderson University. I am currently the program director of an afterschool program called GoalPOST, which runs in 7 different schools in Anderson Districts 1 and 4. I am excited to take this year after graduation to work in an administrative position with my after-school program, and cannot wait to get in to a classroom of my very own! I have a passion for creativity and instilling a sense of worth and excitement in my students. I also absolutely love creating fun and exciting lessons that won't be "super boring", but one that they will remember long after they've left school!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love authentic assessments! I am a huge advocate for student choice and authentic means by which I assess my students. I have studied in Reggio Emilia, Italy and have been present in Reggio-inspired preschools.
