TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a middle school special education teacher for ten years, focusing on students with cognitive delays and autism. This year I was ready to try something new and transferred to our district's high school. I love my new position and will be posting lots of new reading and life skills curriculum as I create it through out the school year!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My goal as a special education teacher is to try and prepare my students for all paths of life. I try to introduce topics that will excite them and keep them engaged. I teach all subject areas including functional, vocational, and social skills.
