TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my fifth year teaching first grade and I love it! I have also taught third grade so have some resources for that as well.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to get my kids up and moving! I do a lot of songs/chants, hand movements, and other kinesthetic components as I teach. I believe Whole Brain Teaching supports learning and I incorporate elements of it in my teaching. I'm always trying to come up with ways to avoid the dreaded BLANK STARES kids give when they're bored! ;)
