TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a Reading Recovery teacher and literacy coach in a K-4 elementary. I have been teaching for 18 years. I taught grade 1-5 as a classroom teacher. For the past 6 years I have been coaching and providing 1st-grade reading intervention as a Reading Recovery teacher. All of what I offer has been created to help teachers in my building in a coaching or a professional development experience. Our Title I elementary school has been designated as "Excellent" by the state of Ohio.

I earned my Master's in curriculum and professional development in 1998 from the Ohio State University. Since then, I have been trained as a Reading Recovery teacher through the Ohio State University. I also became a Literacy Collaborative Coordinator through the Ohio State University.
