TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies for 10 years now. Over the years, I have spent a great deal of time creating my own unique lessons, worksheets, graphic organizers, etc. to better meet the needs of my students and supplement the information found in the text book.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that the text book is just a starting point for teachers. I create and design other supplemental activities to target certain standards, increase knowledge, highlight main ideas, etc. I am a very visual learner myself, so the materials that I create are very easy on the eyes and spacially organized.
