TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 7th year teaching; my fifth year teaching Kindergarten. In Kindergarten students come from varying levels; as their teacher I always try to challenge my students, but also give extra practice to the students who are struggling. I love teaching and live for this profession.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I work very hard to reach all students through finding their strengths. I utilize literacy and math centers that are differentiated to each student’s needs. I also do Reader’s Workshop utilizing Daily 5. I really focus on literacy—teaching my students a solid foundation of phonemic awareness and phonics.
