I have worked in Special Education for 12 years. Four of those years as a Teacher. I volunteered when I was in high school for the Exceptional Family Resource Center in San Diego, CA. It is an agency that provides educational materials and support groups for families of children with exceptionalities.
Because I teach Special Education, I provide an array of learning opportunities; kinesthetic, visual and repetition.
Not yet. :)
I graduated from University of Phoenix with a MaEd./Special Education. It was not easy! Working full time and being a mother and a wife did not make my educational path easy, but it was worth it!
I have three amazing kiddos and a husband who is extremely supportive. I love teaching and working with kiddos. I don't like the paper work involved with Special Education. However, I do it and I make sure I do it properly. I love to run, bake and spend time with my family and friends!
