TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I retired after 20 years of teaching, 19 of them in sixth grade and one in seventh. I have taught all subjects and enjoy each one. Reading is my passion and it guides many the products I make. https://www.mentoringinthemiddle.blogspot.com

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a pretty hands-on kind of teacher. I think reading and writing are tied together, so a lot of my lessons combine the two. I also believe there's enormous satisfaction in working hard and I try to create products that engage students while making them think.
