TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 29 years. I have taught every elementary grade level and exceptional student education resource and self-contained classes. I spent the longest time in third grade, self-contained varying exceptionalities, and the past six years in first grade. I have a Masters Degree in Specific Learning Disabilities and am certified in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Gifted, Specific Learning Disabilities, and ESOL. I enjoy learning and growing with my students each year and sharing ideas with my coworkers.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to have fun with my students. I believe that learning should be exciting and meaningful. I incorporate maninpulatives, movement, and singing throughout the day. I believe that all children can learn if we meet them where they are and take them places they never imagined they would journey to.
