I have taught for 10 years in the South Bronx and specialize in creating engaging courses, unit and lessons for mostly disengaged learners. I have also worked for consultancy firms to develop cutting edge, blended-learning courses.
In terms of teaching and learning, I focus on critical thinking skills and many of my materials make use of the following concepts, scholarship and/or practices: -UbD style planning -strategy-based teaching -Alignment to Common Core -6 habits of proficient readers -Blooms Taxonomy -Sheltered Instructional model -Prep-AP strategies for the College Board
