TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over a decade of experience immersed in the literacy realm, as both an elementary literacy coach (K-5) and reading interventionist (1-4). Majority of my career as an interventionist was spent in 2nd grade. Prior to that, I was also a 2nd grade classroom teacher. So, the primary grades certainly have my heart.

I strongly believe that ALL students can learn! I am a huge proponent of a highly engaging, multisensory approach delivered via systematic, explicit, and direct instruction.
