TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a middle school math teacher for 13 years. I teach all levels of math. I currently have Geometry, Algebra 1 and Basic Math.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a very hands on teacher. A lot of students come to my class and have hated math for years. They hate it because it is hard for them. My goal is to change their beliefs about math and make it fun and relevant.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

My school has won the National Blue Ribbon award in 2006. We have won the state level award for 8 years in a row.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have my bachelors degree from Saint Joseph's College and numerous post graduate courses. I have been trained in differentiated instruction and am a teacher/leader in that field.

I have been married for 11 years and have two children.
